GENEVA, (SANA) - Russia, China and Cuba voted on Friday against a United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) decision to extend the mandate of the , International Commission of Inquiry on Syria, while India, Uganda and Philippines abstained.

Syria's Representative at UNHRC, Faisal al-Hamwi described the decision as shameful, politicized and selective, and ''highly tolerant with al-Qaeda terrorists.''

In his statement on September 17 before the UNHRC in Geneva, al-Hamwi said that the International Commission of Inquiry report lacks accuracy and objectivity and disregards facts, especially the role of international and regional parties in stoking the crisis in Syria through media instigation, funding and training terrorists and al-Qaeda members to send them to Syria.
